DIY SEO Audits – Give Your Site a Check-Up
Technical SEO audits can be extremely in-depth analyses of your site and it’s health. It seems as though every week there is another technical consideration to take into account. There are fantastic SEO experts out there who specialize in doing technical audits but these can be expensive and there’s usually a waiting list for good auditors. This session will address some things you can do to audit your own site with a minimum of specialized tools or knowledge to find opportunities for quick on-site SEO wins.
This session covered implementation of the Endeca platform into a B2B environment and best practices for leveraging the solution for B2B marketers.
Site Navigation and Merchandizing
This session covers all aspects of site search, navigation, and active merchandizing and best practices for implementing these features on an e-commerce website.
How to Develop your Own SEO Program
Co-Presenter: Jessica Bowman
This session will show attendees how to build a business case and get buy-in for doing SEO in-house. You’ll walk away with tips to capture the low hanging fruit that translates into immediate wins. Gain insights into common mishaps of e-commerce websites and how to talk to IT to make sure your site is technically ready to make it to the top of search engines. Hear BuildDirect’s SEO journey and how they started in-house, outsourced it and then brought it back and are taking the program to the next level by leveraging social media.
I’m not actually a speaker on this one though I’d have loved to be. Unfortunately due to other commitments I’m not able to get to the show. On this one I served on the advisory board as the only in-house SEO and contributed feedback and advice on the schedule and list of sessions.
BCTIA Sales & Marketing Exec Roundtable – Nov 2011
SEO & SEM
This session will cover all aspects of online marketing including SEO, SEM, Conversions, and Analytics. The purpose of the presentations are to facilitate discussion between the panel and attendees.
IIMA Fusion Conference 2011 – May 2011
The Intersection of SEO and Social
This session is intended to introduce attendees to the history of how search and social has interacted, to how social currently affects search, and on how to prepare your site and marketing for success in both SEO and Social.
